For ages, the “Tree of Life” imagery has universally represented physical and spiritual nourishment, transformation and liberation, union, and fertility.
Through many historical findings, scholars have found that the "Tree of Life" also represented the human placenta, often appearing as a "tree" through its vein structures of the placenta walls. The study of afterbirth is largely where the identification of stem cells began. Cultures 1000s of years ago understood this concept long before science enabled us to prove it.
We have incorporated this imagery into our logo design to advance this idea further. Many people want to identify this practice of medicine as the "fountain of youth", but in reality, we have tapped into the "fountain of life".
